Stunning views and friendly vibes!

Had a lovely stay! The views of Loch Alsh were just gorgeous from the lounge and our room. Staff was super friendly, even had someone play guitar for us, that was a highlight! Breakfast was tasty, especially the Scottish options. Only downside was the bathroom could use some updates. a great spot for a getaway!

I really loved the delicious vegetarian dinner we had and the great shower in our cozy room. The breakfast was also quite enjoyable, making our stay feel special. Would definitely choose this place again!

I loved how easy it was to explore stunning woodland walks just a few steps away and the quick drive to the Skye Bridge made for beautiful views during my weekend strolls. the service was attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay.

The setting is absolutely breathtaking with stunning views and clean, comfortable rooms. Though some minor issues like water pressure and decor could be improved, the friendly staff and excellent breakfast made up for it. A lovely experience overall, just a bit overpriced for the standard offered.

I was blown away by the massive ballroom-sized room and the delightful fish pie – absolutely the best I've ever had! The morning smoked kippers were exceptional too. Would definitely revisit!

The view from the restaurant was breathtaking, overlooking the stunning Loch Alsh. One evening, I ordered the burger, and honestly, it was one of the best I ever had despite the ridiculous price.

It wasn't cheap by any means, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The warm and welcoming decor made the hotel feel like home, especially in the cozy sitting areas that were easily accessible for someone like me. It truly added to my delightful experience during the stay.

Our stay at Balmacara Hotel was fantastic! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. We especially loved the cozy sitting areas that were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The food was simply amazing, the fish pie was out of this world!

I stayed in a family room that was spacious and comfortable, with stunning views over Loch Alsh and the Isle of Skye right from the window. The decor was modern yet charming, making me feel right at home every time I walked in. And let's talk about the food! The fish pie was absolutely divine—seriously, the best I've ever had!

i really loved my stay here! the staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the room i had was huge and comfy. it was spotless and had such an amazin bathroom. plus, the vibes were really chill and cozy everywhere in the hotel. i’ll definitely come back with my friends!

the bar service was kinda slow and i had to wait too long for drinks. also, the food coulda been a bit better, felt overpriced for what i got.

Parking was convenient, easy access to the hotel. Check-in felt welcoming, a friendly start to our stay. The room size impressed me, bigger than many I've seen elsewhere. the pillows were hard and flat, not ideal for comfort. The bathroom caused major issues. no place to set toiletries, troublesome shower control, and no towel bars. Weak hot water pressure made the shower frustrating. I noticed some maintenance issues, like the sticking room door, which made noise and could disturb others. WiFi barely worked in the room but was fine in common areas. Dining was a highlight. both dinner and breakfast were tasty and well prepared. Most staff members were friendly and accommodating, which added a nice touch. I wouldn’t return due to the bathroom flaws, which were too bothersome to overlook.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the cozy Classic Double Room with stunning sea views and the delicious breakfast! The hotel has a lovely garden area and a relaxing leisure room that's perfect for winding down after a long day. The hallways could use a bit of a refresh, but it didn't take away from the overall great experience. 😄
